The structure of the IBD protocol
In the first part of your coaching program, you’ll learn what the effect is of nutrition on your body. The health of your intestines is mainly determined by the nutrients you eat every day. That is why you learn which foods damage your intestines and can cause complaints and which foods have a positive effect on your health.
By applying this knowledge you ensure peace in your stomach. Most people experience fewer abdominal complaints, a more regular bowel movement and experience more energy within 14 days.
Vitamins and minerals are very important for the functioning of the systems in your body. Because of our current diet, many people have vitamins and minerals deficiency. In order to ensure that your body has the right nutrients to repair the damage and to function properly, you learn what the most important vitamins and minerals are and how they support your health.
The final part of the counseling program is tuned to the results of the stool examination. All kinds of systems work together in your body to ensure that you can use the nutrients from your food. This is what we call the digestive system. Due to various causes, an imbalance can arise in this system, causing it to function less. This may have been going on for years before you experienced that something was not right.
You can think of: having little energy, (varying) constipation or diarrhea, a (chronic) inflammation in your stomach and/or intestines, feeling pressure and using the toilet more often. But also skin complaints such as eczema and having a depression are related to problems in your intestines.
